=======Custom Discharge Instructions=======

Customized discharge instructions can save considerable time otherwise spent explaining verbally, while providing patients and family with written instructions that they can refer to later.

  - Click on patient education. Make sure this is in English regardless of the intended language. \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_01_patient_education.png}} \\
  - Choose a preassigned note (steps 2 to 6 only necessary first time) \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_02_add_random_note.png}} \\
  - Delete the prewritten contents of the preassigned note \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_03_delete_contents_random_note.png}} \\
  - Save the blank note \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_04_save_custom_note.png}} \\
  - Assign a name for your custom note \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_05_save_name_custom_note.png}} \\
  - Delete the random note from your list of assignments \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_06_delete_random_note.png}} \\
  - Search for your blank/custom note by assigned title. Note that the selected language is still English. \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_07_search_custom_note.png}} \\
  - Type in custom instructions for your patient in the preferred language. You can use Google translate to aid in these instructions. \\ {{public:discharge:dc_instructions_08_customize_instructions.png}} \\
